Warranty Policy

Battery and Electronics Warranty  

Coverage:  

  1. Hardware Products and Accessories  

Covered: The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for one year (or lifetime) from the original retail purchase date. To avoid confusion, “lifetime” refers to the period of time in which the device is available on the market, not the lifespan of the original purchaser.

Exclusions (Not Covered): 

  • Consumable Ports (Batteries or Protective Coatings)  

Not Covered: This warranty does not cover consumable items like batteries or protective coatings that are designed to wear out over time, unless the failure occurs due to a defect in materials or workmanship (ie. battery fails to hold a charge far earlier than expected under normal use).  

  • Cosmetic Damage (Scratches, Dents, Broken Plastic)  

Not Covered: The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, or broken ports unless the damage is due to a defect in materials or workmanship and affects the functionality of the product.

  • Damage from Third-Party Components  

Not Covered: The warranty does not cover damage caused by the use of third-party components or accessories that do not meet the product’s specifications (i.e., incompatible chargers, non-approved replacement parts).  

  • Damage from Accidents, Abuse, Misuse, Fire, or External Causes  

Not Covered: The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidentsabusemisusefire, or other external causes (i.e., dropping it, exposing it to severe temperatures).

  • Modification to Alter Functionality or Capability  

Not Covered: This warranty does not cover any product that has been modified to alter its functionality or capability(i.e., Installing unauthorized software or opening the device to access internal parts)

  • Normal Wear and Tear  

Not Covered: The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear.

  • Lost Part/Product

Not Covered: The warranty does not cover lost product parts or lost products.

Glass Warranty 

 Coverage:  

  1. Broken or Chipped Pipe and Bowl  

Covered: The warranty covers broken or chipped pipes and bowls, but only within three days of the purchase/delivery date. 

  • Manufacturer Malfunction  

Covered: The warranty also covers manufacturer malfunctions, but this applies only within three days of the purchase/delivery date.

Not Covered: The warranty does not cover lost product parts or lost products.

Grinders and Dugout Warranty  

Coverage:  

  1. Product and Accessories  

Covered: This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for one year (or lifetime, depending on the product) from the original retail purchase date. To avoid confusion, “lifetime” refers to the period of time in which the device is available on the market, not the lifespan of the original purchaser.  

Exclusions (Not Covered):  

  • Consumable Parts (Protective Coatings)  

Not Covered: This warranty does not apply to consumable parts like protective coatings, which are designed to degrade over time. However, if the protective coating fails unexpectedly or wears out prematurely due to a defect in materials or workmanship, it will be covered.  

  • Cosmetic Damage (Scratches, Dents, Broken Ports)  

Not Covered: This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, such as scratches, dents, or broken ports that do not affect the product’s functionality.   

  • Damage from Third-Party Components  

Not Covered: This warranty does not cover damage caused by the use of third-party components or accessories that do not meet the product’s specifications (i.e., incompatible replacement parts).  

  • Damage from Accidents, Abuse, Misuse, Fire, or External Causes  

Not Covered: This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, or any other external causes (i.e., dropping it, using excessive force).   

  • Modification to Alter Functionality or Capability  

Not Covered: This warranty does not cover any product that has been modified to alter its functionality or capability (i.e., changing out grinder parts, attempting self-repair).

  • Normal Wear and Tear  

Not Covered: This warranty does not cover damage due to normal wear and tear.

For example:

  • Grinder teeth losing sharpness
  • Gradual fading of color/markings
  • Lost Part/Product

Not Covered: The warranty does not cover lost product parts or lost products.

Product Registration & Proof of Purchase  

If you purchased the product directly from us at tsunamipremium.com, the chekout process includes registration for warranty. If you purchased the product from a third-party vendor, you would need to register it for warranty within 14 days of purchase. To activate the warranty and place a claim, product registration is required. When registering, you must provide proof of purchase, such as an itemized receipt, to ensure that the product is covered under warranty. The receipt must clearly show the date and place of purchase.

Discontinued Models:  

If the model or item has been discontinued and is no longer available, it will be replaced with a product of equivalent value and similar functionality. 

Warranty Claims and Redemption Fee 

Customers requesting warranty service or redeeming warranty claims are responsible for a $5.00 shipping and handling fee. This fee covers the cost of processing, packaging, and shipping the replacement product. By submitting a warranty claim or redemption request, the customer agrees to pay this fee as a condition of service. The fee must be paid in full before any replacement products are shipped.
